How kind are Norwegians

Woke early and wonderful ski down to the hamlet of Tyinkysett at -19C just as the dawn broke. As we approached the Fjellstue Conrad said it looked like a building site with portacabins. He was right and the entire building housed workers who were going to take 5 years to build a tunnel to avoid cars getting stuck on the mountain road in winter. On hearing what we were doing they found us a cabin and offered us food. The local sports shop then arranged to post back our surplus gear (sled harnesses and traces and anything we had not used in last 40 days). We then phoned ahead to a cabin that was closed and the owner said of course we were welcome. If only Brits were so kind! So we have finished this stage and now we push on to Otta.
